This standard specifies the definition, general performance requirements and specific test method of electrical wiring harness connectors. This standard is applicable to single line and multiline connectors in vehicle-use electrical wiring harness and separation connectors on the vehicle used for maintenance. This standard is not applicable to connectors which directly connect to printed circuit board and internal connection of electronic instruments.
