This standard specifies the compilation principle and compilation method for the model of product of electric equipment for coal mine (hereinafter referred to as "product") as well as the composition and arrangement of model and management measures.
This standard is applicable to electric equipment for coal mine.
This standard is not applicable to miner light, charging rack and lighting fixture.

3 Compilation Principle for Product Model
3.1 The naming of product model shall be simple and clear.
3.2 The product model shall be composed of capital Chinese phonetic alphabets and Arabic numerals.
3.3 Generally, it is required to take the first letter of the Chinese phonetic alphabet of the first representative Chinese character in each phrase of product name.
3.4 If selection of letters according to the requirements of 3.3 results in model repetition or letters cannot be used due to other reasons, the Chinese phonetic alphabets of other Chinese characters in the phrase may be adopted.
3.5 If the requirements of 3.1~3.4 cannot be satisfied, other letters may be selected under the premise of obtaining the approval of standard administrative organization.
