This Standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking of the guided type fall arrester including a rigid anchor line.
This standard is applicable to the guided type fall arrester including a rigid anchor line applied by the personnel with the total body weight and load not greater than 100kg. If the user bears a total weight (including the tools and equipment) exceeding 100 kg, the application shall be subject to the manufacturer's comments and qualified tests.
This Standard is only applicable to the vertical anchor line.
Note: horizontal anchor line, if any, may refer to the relevant test methods specified in Appendix A.
