This Standard specifies dimension, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of cold drawn special shaped steel bar (hereinafter referred to as "special shaped steel bar").
This Standard is applicable to cold drawn carbon constructional quality steel and alloy structural steel bars with a section area more than 30 mm2. Other special shaped steel bars also can be taken as reference to this Standard.
