1.1 This standard specifies the basic requirements which shall be complied with by the combustible gas detection and alarm system in the petroleum and natural gas engineering.
1.2 This standard is applicable to combustible gas detection and alarm design, equipment selection, installation of newly-built, expanded and renovated onshore petroleum and gas field engineering, petroleum and gas storing and transporting engineering and onshore terminal engineering for offshore petroleum and gas field as well as the management of the engineering above.
