1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage for precast concrete paving units.
This standard is applicable to the precast concrete paving and flooring blocks and plates (hereinafter collectively referred to as paving units) that are mainly made of cement and aggregates by pressurization, vibrating pressurization or other forming processes for paving side walks, carriage ways, squares, and warehouses, etc. The surfaces of the paving units may be natural or colorized with/without surface course (shell fabric).
