1 Scope

This standard is applicable to the rapid test for thermal endurance of electrical insulating impregnating varnishes and varnished fabrics with soft film, which is expressed as the formula of temperature index (td) versus thermal endurance.
This standard can't supersede the conventional test procedure for thermal endurance.
