This standard specifies the terms and definitions for the design, manufacture, renovation and application, extreme hazards and safety requirements and /or measures, inspectio and application information of the mechanical press tyep products (hereinafter referred to as press).
The standard is applicable to the design, manufacture, renovation and application of press and auxiliary device which is an integral part of the press, as well the the equipment integrated to automatic production line. This standard does not cover machines whose principle designed purpose is:
- sheet metal cutting by guillothine;
- attaching a fsterner, e.g. riveting;
- bending or folding;
- straightening;
- turret punch pressing;
- extruding;
- drop forging or heat drop stamping;
- compaction of metal powder;
- puching for the steel structure section bar processing
- spiral press
- the special puching designed for section bar blanking (e.g. steel structure)
