1.0.1 With a view to achieving advanced technology, safety, usability, economy and rationality, as well as guaranteeing quality in design, construction and quality acceptance of metal pipe work for building drainage, this specification was formulated.
1.0.2 Metal pipe for building drainage may be used for drainage projects such as sewage pipe, air pipe, air-conditioning condensate pipe and rain drainage pipe in constructed, renovated and extended industry and civil buildings without erosion on metal. This specification is applicable to design, construction and quality acceptance of the above-mentioned metal pipe work for building drainage.
1.0.3 Design, construction and quality acceptance of metal pipe work for building drainage shall meet not only the requirements of this specification, but also those in the current relevant standards in China.
